Executive and corporate retreats in Arizona.

Red rock, saguaro desert and the Grand Canyon, all within reach of one of the best-connected airports in the West. Arizona lets the outcome set the length: a single day out of Scottsdale, a full retreat in Sedona, or an expedition day that ends at the rim.

Why Arizona

Three kinds of desert, one airport.

Phoenix Sky Harbor puts a leadership team within an hour of the Sonoran Desert and two hours of Sedona’s red rock, with the Grand Canyon beyond. That range is what makes Arizona useful: a team at a Scottsdale resort for a conference can take one engineered day in the desert, while a team that needs time to think can settle into Sedona for three.

This is a place, not the product. If Arizona serves your outcome, we will build it there. If somewhere else serves it better, we will tell you that instead.

What an Arizona retreat is good for
Decisions under uncertainty

An expedition day with incomplete information shows how the team decides when the plan stops working.

Room to think

Sedona gives a team space, beauty and a complete break from the inbox for the thinking it keeps deferring.

Easy to convene

Phoenix Sky Harbor is a major hub, and the one-day format fits around a conference in Scottsdale.

Planning a retreat in Arizona

The practical details.

When to go

October to April for the Sonoran Desert around Phoenix and Scottsdale. March to May and October to November for Sedona. Summer is hot across the low desert.

Getting there

Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) is the hub. Scottsdale resorts are close by; Sedona is about two hours by road, and Flagstaff (FLG) is about 45 minutes from Sedona.

How long

One day from Scottsdale, two to three days in Sedona, or an expedition day added to a Sedona retreat.

Where you stay

A Scottsdale resort for the one-day format; one of Sedona’s red-rock resorts for a full retreat.

A sample three-day shape

A starting point. Every retreat is built around your one outcome.

Day 1

Arrive

Fly into Phoenix, transfer to Sedona, and an evening framing the one outcome over dinner.

Day 2

The expedition

A designed day in the red-rock country, chosen for the outcome, with the debrief built in.

Day 3

Decide

Decisions, owners and one behavior per leader, then back to Phoenix by mid-afternoon.

What it costs

Every retreat here follows our three tiers: Focused $35,000–$50,000, Signature $45,000–$150,000 and Bespoke $75,000 and up, turnkey for a team of roughly 5 to 12 and exclusive of air travel. What moves the number here: peak-season resort rates in spring and fall, vehicles and guiding for desert days, and transfers from Phoenix. The one-day Scottsdale immersion is priced separately. See what an executive retreat costs and the three tiers.
