Executive retreats in AlUla, Saudi Arabia.

Sandstone canyons, ancient tombs and a desert silence few executives have ever experienced. We ran an executive retreat for Champion Iron here, and measured a 209% lift in the team’s mindset a month later.

Why AlUla

Half a world from the office, and nothing like it.

AlUla sits in the desert of northwest Saudi Arabia: towering sandstone, palm oases and Hegra, the country’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, with more than 110 carved tombs. A team that eats lunch on a rug in the sand among those rocks is not thinking about the quarterly review. That distance is what lets a leadership team look at how it actually works.

This is a place, not the product. AlUla suits teams for whom the scale and strangeness of the setting will do real work, including leadership teams based in the Gulf. If somewhere closer serves the outcome, we will tell you.

What it costs

Every retreat here follows our three tiers: Focused $35,000–$50,000, Signature $45,000–$150,000 and Bespoke $75,000 and up, turnkey for a team of roughly 5 to 12 and exclusive of air travel. AlUla retreats usually sit in the Bespoke range, because international logistics, desert resorts and private guiding carry the cost. See what an executive retreat costs and the three tiers.
